Imphal, February 22 2022: Manipur State Scouts Union observed the 165th birth anniversary of World Boy Scout Movement founder Lord Baden Powell at Ch Iboyaima High School, Singjamei on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Manipur State Scouts Union secretary L Tondon stressed that children should be encouraged to get scouting education so as to help in becoming responsible citizens of the country.

During the programme, condolences were also expressed on the death of Union's former president RK Tomalsana.
