LKT, MMAA bag two gold each at State Thang-Ta Cship

Nine events were decided at the 32nd State Thang-Ta Championship 2022 on Tuesday as Laiyingthou Kangba Thang-Ta, Kangmong and Manipur Martial Art Academy ended the day with two goal medals each.
H Roshini Devi (sub-jr girls -29kg) and M Roniya Devi (sub-jr girls -49kg) claimed the top podium honours in their respective categories to hand Laiyingthou Kangba Thang-Ta two gold medals in the day's competition.
W Alona Devi took the silver medal in the sub-junior girls' -29kg category for the team.
Manipur Martial Art Academy too bagged two gold medals courtesy of performances by Th Sandhyarani (sub-jr girls -33kg) and Mangte Chanchan Kom (sub-jr girls +53kg).The team also added a bronze to their medal tally in the sub-junior girls -49kg event through W Tampasana.
Among other gold medallists were Jyoti Sunar (sub-jr girls -37kg) of Ibudhou Korouhanba Thang-Ta, Moidangpok; N Lingjelthoibi (sub-jr girls -41kg) of Indigenous Culture & Sports Academy; K Neha Devi (sub-jr girls -45kg) of Kanglei Thang-Ta Sindam Shang, Maklang; L Malvia Chanu (sub-jr girls -53kg); and Ngachanhor Ch Shimray (sub-jr boys -21kg) of Haokok Thang-Ta, Hungpung.
