Film Forum Manipur has urged KCP (P) to revoke the monetary demand served to the cinema halls of the State.
Speaking to reporters at their Lamphelpat office, FFM secretary Mayanglambam Epu said that the outfit has slapped a monetary demand of Rs 10000 each to all the cinema halls of rural areas and Rs 50000 each to all the cinema halls of Imphal area.
As the monetary demand is too high, the Forum would convene a public meeting to take a decision on whether to continue film production on March 15, he added.
