Imphal, November 27 2017:
Representatives of the All Manipur Petroleum Products Transporters Association called on Chief Minister N Biren and highlighted their grievances this afternoon.
CAF&PD Minister Karam Shyam and the department's Commissioner K Radhakumar were also present at the meeting.
The transporters pointed out that the terms and conditions of the e-tender floated by IOC for fresh engagement of fuel transporters may deprive them of their duty of transporting fuel to the State.
Later, the State Government assured that it would Write a letter to the LOC to consider the transporters' demands including retention of the existing tanker trucks, informed a source.
