Imphal, December 27 2009: One of the abducted Airtel phone service provider employees has been rescued by the Manipur police this afternoon.

Reports said that the employee identified as one Thokchom Okendro (33), of Kontha Khabam Lamkhai was rescued by the police at Keithelmanbi at around 12: 30 pm today.

The rescued Airtel employee is now reportedly in the custody of Sekmai police.

However, the fate of the other abducted telephone service providing company employee identified as Kh Joychandra is not known.

It is worth noting that the two Airtel employees have gone missing since December 17 morning.
