Power disruptions
Consumers of 33KV line from Kakching to Thoubal via Wangjing will experience power cut on October 25 from 8 am to 12 noon in order to charge and commission 3 3KV line at Khongjom.
11KV line (33/11KV Mayang Imphal Sub-Division) from Mayang Imphal to Thoubal Moijing will be shut down from 8 am to 4 pm due to re-strengthening of 33KV line from Thoubal 33/11KV S/S to Thoubal Leisangthem.
Juvenile Justic Bill 2015
Following an appeal filed by child rights activist Mahendra singh M Sengar, the chairperson of Rajya Sabha has written to the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of lndia to see if any appropriate changes can be made in the proposed Juvenile Justic Bill 2015 considering the charge of various violation of Constitutional provisions, Supreme Court judgements and international laws.
JAC to intensify stir
Takyel Youth Welfare Organisation has resolved to endorse the future course of agitation of the JAC against the closing of Pong Lambi by JNIMS.
In a statement, the organisation also warned of shutting down the casualty and OPD wards in case JNIMS fails to come to an understanding with the JAC within October 25 .
ZB, Manipur

Book release

BSNL customer care
With an aim to improve its customer care service, BSNL Manipur has started operating its Customer Service Centre (CSC) at Babupara from 10 am to 12 pm even on Sundays and holidays from October 21 .
Customers can now visit and avail various services like bill payment and taking new connections etc even on Sundays and holidays, said a statement.
MSPDCL informs
MSPDCL, Imphal Electrical Division No III has informed all the local TV channels, consumers of VIP power line and other authorities concerned under Wangkhei Sub-Division to remove their respective service wire including the telephone lines installed along Nongmeibung road via RDS and Nandeibam Chuthek and: Andro parking area via RDS and Palace Compound in order to begin the arrangement for the Sangai Festival.
From October 30, MSPDCL will also start removing the private service wires in the area as part of the preparation for the festival.
