NYCs' induction training starts

Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), Imphal Zone is organising 10 days induction training of National Youth Corps (NYCs) at the Training Hall of Art and Culture Complex at Palace Compund here from today.
L Tilotama, Vice Chairperson NYKS, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India said during the occasion that the volunteers need to participate the training program seriously and should have multidimensional role.
"Even if Manipur is a small State it is being compared to Delhi in terms of crimes which are ever increasing in the State.
It is necessary that we understand well whether the crimes are caused by ill behaviour of the men or indecent nature of the women", she stressed.
Tilotama also observed, "We need to be modernised and do every work in modernised ways.
To be modernised does not mean that we copy crimes but modernisation in the good and prosperity.
Let us build up the society where there is no enmity." Speaking at the occasion, Y Laxman Singh, DYC Thoubal said, 108 volunteers (13 to 35 years old) are taking part in the training program.
The main objectives of the program is to build skill, develop positive attitude of the volunteers and to acquaint them on how to keep good relationship with youth clubs of village.
