Imphal, July 17 2022: The installation ceremony of the District Cabinet for LY 2022-23 of Lions Club International, District 322D was held on July 16 at Hotel Imphal.

A press release by the club stated that Lion VK Luthra, former International Director graced the occasion as the chief guest cum Installation Officer.

Lion Dr W Gopimohan, District Governor, Lion Dr Shantanu Lakhar, Vice District Governor-I, Lion Th Kesho, Vice District Governor-II, former district governors and other Lion dignitaries of the District attended the event among others.

Speaking at the occasion, Lion VK Luthra who installed the new cabinet members emphasised that every Lion member should always remember that the main objective of Lions Club is to provide service to mankind whenever the need arises.

Subsequently, the first District cabinet meeting was held with Lion Dr Gopimohon as the chief guest today.

The chairman of various committees and sub-committees for the year 2022-23 presented their plan of actions during the meeting.

The two days district level programme was co-hosted by Lions Club of Imphal and Lions Club of Imphal City, added the release.
