Imphal, October 06: All Zeliangrong Students' Union (AZSU) has accused the Director of School Education M Hare Krishna for diverting the fund meant for supply of Science equipment to hill schools to valley schools.

A press release issued by AZSU general secretary said that the Director issued an order on January 17 last to supply science equipment to 15 schools including Maram High School, Phunkhothang Junior High School, Machi High School and Nungba High School.

However, the four schools were replaced by Ananda Singh Academy Higher Secondary School, Lamlong Higher Secondary School, Model Higher Secondary School and Ramlal Paul Higher Secondary School in an order issued on September 12, the release added.
