Joint Action Committee on brutal killing of Tinsubam Kemanda has warned of intense agitation from December 29 in case the State Government fails to produce the killers, our correspondent reports.
A sit-in protest was staged by around 450 people comprising meira paibis and club members at Takhel bazar today to protest the brutal killing.
Sources revealed that a memorandum in this regard is about to be submitted to CM O Ibobi Singh by the JAC demanding the arrest of the killer within five days from today, provide compensation to the family of Tinsubam Kemanda and not to claim the body until the killer/s is/are arrested.
Mention may be made that Tinsubam Kemanda was found dead in the night of December 21 around 1.5 km to the east of Takhel after he went out to watch Shumang Leela.
