Integration tour flagged off

A National integration tour organised by 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) as part of 'Operation Sadbhavana' programme was flagged off from Pallel on March 21, 2015 by Brig Rajiv Chhibber, Commander, 26 Sector Assam Rifles.
According to a statement issued by the PRO of IGAR (S), the ten day long tour comprises of fifteen girls, five boys and two teachers from ARHS, Pallel, Chandel district.
The tour to Varanasi and Delhi would also include visits to historical and cultural places to broaden horizon of the students.
The most important highlight of the tour would be interaction of the students with the President of India.
The tour will not only motivate the young minds but also help students draw inspiration, boost self-confidence and change overall outlook of the students from remote areas of the State, it said.

Speaking at the occasion, Brig Rajiv Chhibber had congratulated the selected children and exhorted them to gain valuable knowledge from the tour.
He also encouraged them to utilize the opportunity to discover the prospects that are available outside and to also imbibe the positive values of people from different States of India which shall empower them in their career and subsequent contributions to the growth and development of Manipur.
