ATSUM gives Govt 3 days to respond

, APR 20 (HNS): All Tribal Students' Union Manipur (ATSUM) has slammed the Government of Manipur for remaining silent on its demands including devolution power to ADC; 6th Schedule; reservation policy, contract basis teachers' issue; IGNTU and closure of Catholic schools etc.
Expressing dismay over the official inaction, ATSUM had demanded that the State Government should respond positively to its demands within three day.
ATSUM President Emboi Serto said the tribal students losing patience as the student body has already provided ample opportunity to address issues highlighted so far in spite of several assurances.
Blaming the State Government of adopting "delaying tactics", the ATSUM President said the Government will be held responsible for any untoward incidents arising out of its unresponsive attitude towards the issues already highlighted.
