KCP (MC) to punish 'educational traders'

The proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party-Military Council (KCP-MC) has vowed to launch action against people who the outfit called "educational traders" until the right to compulsory education is ensured to marginalized section of the society.
According to a press release issued by Paikhomba Meitei, Secretary of Information & Publicity, Military Affairs, KCP (MC) said the outfit always respects Article 13 (a) of the International Covenant on Economic, Social & Cultural Rights as well as Article 28 section 1 clause (a) (b) of Convention on the Rights of the Child (1988) .
"We're set to assail all educational traders irrespective of students, teachers and leaders.
KCP (MC) will not spear anyone," the statement declared.
It said some handful of people are now fearlessly staging protest demanding education rights of some 12,327 students of Catholic schools without seriously taking into account of the pride of the indigenous people.
KCP (MC) said the Catholic Society, Manipur has hoodwinked some student groups of Manipur against equal access to education and right to compulsory free education to be given to the indigenous people of the land.
"With the blessings of the people who are in need, we are going to turn all Catholic schools into a bloody war field similar to "Khongjom Lal," it threatened.
The statement called people who are countering the ongoing "Operation Mangal," launched recently by the outfit, as "pro-capitalists" and vowed to launch attack against them.
The outfit alleged that now a many student leaders in Manipur have been trapped in the inescapable net of "school admission quota" .
