Imphal, August 10 2024: Chief Minister N Biren Singh has stated that recruitment for 750 posts of teaching and non-teaching staff, with 125 posts each for six ADCs viz; Churachandpur, Chandel, Kangpokpi, Senapati, Tam-englong and Ukhrul has been initiated.

The Chief Minister made the statement while responding to a query raised by NPF MLA Leishiyo Keishing during the Question Hour yesterday.

N Biren gave the response though the subject falls under Tribal Affairs and Hills as Letpao Haokip, the Minister concerned, was absent during the House session.

N Biren continued that the six ADCs altogether have 977 schools - Chura-chandpur (187), Chandel (130), Kangpokpi (190), Senapati (141), Tamenglong (164) and Ukhrul (165) .

When asked about the sanctioned posts, the Leader of the House responded that the six ADCs altogether have 7026 teaching staff and 1076 non teaching staff.

District-wise, Churachandpur has 1270 teaching staff and 183 non teaching while Chandel has 1059 teaching staff and 143 non-teaching staff, Tamenglong 1274 teaching staff and 177 non-teaching staff, Senapati 1010 teaching staff and 148 non-teaching staff, Kangpokpi 1291 teaching staff and 198 non-teaching staff and Ukhrul 1122 teaching staff and 227 non-teaching staff, as per the Chief Minister.
