Hill area beneficiaries fully supporting AMSU

Imphal, December 20: The District Level Beneficiary Selection Committee TD members association for five hill districts firmly supports the stand of AMSU regarding the misappropriation and misuse of funds by tribal Welfare Minister and his subordinate TD officials according to a press hand out from the Gen Secy of the association Khaikhoklam Kipgen.

It is ridiculous that the Tribal development had shown some unrelated documents in the absence of DLBSC TC members association representatives it added.

It is thus clear that the TD department produced such irrelevant documents to mislead the AMSU leaders it added.

However the members can not be convinced of such attempts as the DLBSC members of the association are well versed in their long experiences in dealing the case from the court to obtain financial and administrative approval from the government on behalf of the TD department it said.

It said it hopes the AMSU leaders will not back track from their present stand in the interest of Manipur particularly the tribal people because if the small schemes can be easily misappropriated how can those works involving huge amount of money be implemented it questioned.
