Imphal, October 23 2024: In a gesture of encouraging physical fitness and teamwork among the youth, Assam Rifles donated sports equipment during the 44th Annual Sports Meet of United College, Chandel district.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the event brought together students to showcase their talents not only in sports but also in literature and Cultural performances.

During the ceremony, senior officials from AR addressed the attendees, emphasising the importance of maintaining a balance between academic pursuits and extracurricular activities.

The officials also encouraged students to prioritise physical fitness as a vital component of their overall development.

The sports meet provided a healthy platform for youth to demonstrate their abilities while fostering a spirit of camaraderie among participants.

The release further mentioned that the event was further enriched by captivating cultural dance performances and literary competitions, creating a festive atmosphere that celebrated the diverse talents of the students.
