Imphal, August 31 2024: Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya held a meeting with the Vice Chancellors of State and Central universities at Raj Bhavan here today.

Vice Chancellor of Mani-pur University N Lokendra Singh, Vice Chancellor of Dhanamanjuri University and Manipur Technical University H Gyan Prakash and Vice Chancellor of Manipur University of Culture, Paonam Gunindro Singh were present at the meeting.

They discussed the implementation of the New Edu- cation Policy (NEP) and other plans aimed at further enhancing the educational landscape of Manipur.

The Governor instructed them to submit a detailed report regarding the implementation of the NEP.

It is said that a follow-up meeting will be held on September 16, 2024, at Raj Bhavan, according to a press release issued by the Governor's Secretariat.
