National integration tour flagged in

The National Integration Tour organised under Operation Sadbhavana by the Spear Corps of the Indian Army from October 14 to 23 for nine 'Youth Ambassadors' from Manipur, culminated in a grand flag-in ceremony held at Koirengei, here on Wednesday.
In a release, PRO Defence informed that the tour, aimed at fostering national unity and promoting cultural understanding, was flagged off by the Red Shield Division general officer commanding on October 14 from Koirengei.
During the 10- day tour the participants visited Army establishments, places of historical importance and got an opportunity to interact with civil dignitaries and senior officers of Army in Kolkata, West Bengal; Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh and Shillong, Meghalaya.
During the visit to Shillong the 'Ambassadors' met with Meghalaya Governor CH Vijayshankar on Tuesday and also visited DG Assam Rifles.
The PRO stated that the National Integration Tour provided the 'Youth Ambassadors' with a unique and invaluable opportunity to engage With the Indian Army and experience India's diverse cultural fabric while expressing that The interactions and experiences will leave a lasting impression, helping to build connections and deepen their understanding of India's unity in diversity.
