CCpur police recovers liquor

CCpur, February 19 2022: As part of preventive measures in connection with the ensuing Assembly elections, teams of Churachandpur PS and Women Police raided some suspected warehouses and vendors around Churachandpur town and seized large quantity of IMFL, alcoholic beverages and DIC liquor on Saturday.

In all, the teams recovered 34 bottles of Royal Stag 750 ml (25.5 litre) worth Rs 38,250; 24 bottles of Sterling Reserve 750 ml (18 litres) worth Rs 27,000; 34 bottles of McDowell's 750 ml (25.5 litre) worth Rs 38,250; 24 bottles of Contessa 750 ml (18 litre) worth Rs 18,000; 16 bottles of OC Blue 375ml (6 litre) worth Rs 9000; 20 beer cans worth Rs 5000; 14 bottles of Old Monk 750ml (10.5 litre) worth Rs 10,500; 332.5 litre of DIC liquor worth Rs 33,250; 58 bottles of McDowell's 180ml (10.44 litre) worth Rs 15,66; and 26 bottles of one litre whisky worth Rs 39,000 .
