Imphal, October 23 2024: Kuki Women Organisation for Human Rights (KWOHR) has strongly condemned the alleged molestation of a ten-year old by one Zakir.

In a press release issued by its Department of Information & Publicity on Tuesday, KWOHR stated that this abhorrent act of violence against minors is deeply troubling and unacceptable, adding that such crimes demand immediate action from law enforcement and justice for the victim.

Every child deserves to grow up free from fear and harm, it asserted.

It then called for respecting the law and order, while urging all concerned not to resort to further violence or vigilantism, but pursue justice through legal channels.

KWOHR then praised the dedicated efforts of women in law enforcement, working tirelessly to protect the communities and support victims.
