Distribution of Covid relief items continues

As a part of the Seva Hi Sangathan Phase 2, BJP Bishnupur District Committee secretary, Sanasam Premchandra Meitei in association with the volunteers of Ithai Laikhong Election Committee distributed essential food items to 23 households in Home Isolation of Wangoo Ahallup Awang Leikai, Ward No 7 yesterday.
The relief items were handed over to the volunteers of Wangoo Awang Leikai Youth Committee.
Meanwhile, Action Aid India in association with New Life Foundation - Manipur and Childline Bishnupur provided rice, dal, edible oil, potato and other food items to Glory Children Home in Thamnapokpi Moirang.
The food items were provided to support the children residing in Glory Children Home suffering due to the pandemic.
KANGPOKPI
In a bid to encourage and motivate the police personnel who are carrying out their duties during these health crisis, the Kalapahar Covid Task Force led by Vigyan Koirala provided face masks, sanitizers, disinfectants, etc to Kangpokpi Police today at SP, Kangpokpi office.
KAKCHING
In continuation of the assistance provided to the people, Lamjingba Hospital, Managing Director, Thingnam Ibomcha in association with the representatives of BJP Sugnu Mandal distributed essential food items to the households in the containment zone of Pangantabi, Sugnu under Sugnu Assembly Constituency yesterday.
Food items were also distributed to the inmates of Community Home Isolation Centre (CHIC) in Sugnu Guest House.
Later, Thingnam Ibomcha also handed over sodium hypochlorite, face masks, sanitizers, etc to the Covid Task Force of Pangantabi.
Similarly, BJP Manipur Pradesh president incharge, Dr Usham Deben also distributed food items to the 250 households in the containment zone of Sao Club Kakching Wairi, Friendship Sporting Club Kakching Phousupat, Keirak, Wabagai Kadajit under Wabagai AC.
Dr Usham Deben also handed over a monetary aid of Rs 50,000 to KYWAC Club Wabagai Kadajit to aid the people suffering due to the pandemic.
TENGNOUPAL
HS Benjamin Mate, former BJP Lok Sabha candidate and State spokesperson handed over relief items for 22 villages of Machi Block and Sita village of Tengnoupal District in the presence of Machi Block Village Chiefs Association and student organisation leaders at Tengnoupal village.
The Village chiefs and leaders present in the meeting lauded HS Benjamin Mate for his continued selfless services to the poor and helpless villagers living in the remote areas of Manipur during the pandemic.
THOUBAL
Thoubal Municipal Council Ward No 1 former Ward Member, Ningombam Nanda in association with the volunteers of Youth Development Organisation (YDO) and Social Service And Welfare Association (SSAWA) distributed essential food items to 25 households in the containment zone of Thoubal Okram and Thoubal Wangmataba Sorok Makha under Thoubal Municipal Council Ward No 1.Likewise, as a part of the Seva Hi Sangathan Phase 2, BJP Manipur Pradesh former vice president, social worker Th Jadumani in association with BJP Khangabok Mandal also distributed face masks and essential food items to 200 households in the containment zone of Wangbal, Khangabok Part 1, Khangabok Part 2, Khangabok Part 3 and Sangaiyumpham Pulleipokpi under Khangabok AC today.
