Imphal, August 10 2024: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Chandel conducted a one-day awareness programme on 'Marketing, Branding & Processing of Farm Products for FPO/SHG' for Chandel Block under 100 days Action Plan at ICAR-KVK, Chandel conference hall on Friday.

In a release, KVK, Chandel conveyed that the programme was attended by NCDC, RO Guwahati deputy director Jagadeshwar Rao S as chief guest; KVK, Chandel senior scientist and head Dr A Ameeta Devi as functional president and Food Safety Administration, Chandel food safety officer Dr Sh Wilson as resource person.

KVK, Chandel SMS (Agri Engg) Dr K Sonamani Singh; SMS (H/Sc) Dr Y Pra-bhabati Devi; SMS (Pl Breeding) Ts Leenda Monsang; SMS (Hort) Ps Lavid Anal, staffers, FPO Chandel and Chakpikarong block staff and 56 FPO members of Chandel United Farmers' Cooperative Society Ltd also attended the event, it added.
