MYCO wins 4 awards at drama festival

Imphal, February 01 2022: Manipur Youths' Cultural Organisation (MYCO), Porompat Thawanthaba Leikai's play 'Khangpokshang' has won four awards at the 45th Kha Manipur Drama Festival 2022 organised jointly by Langmeidong Dramatic Union and Manipur State Kala Academy from January 23 to 30 .

In a release, MYCO informed that 'Khangpokshang' which is based on creating mass awareness on the harmful effect on environment caused in pursuit of development and threats posed to living beings won the 2nd Best Production; 3rd Best Director by Khoibam Homeshwori Devi; Best Actor by Sunilmyboy; 2nd Best Script Writer by Ranjit Ningthouja; 3rd Best Actress by Ch Nganthoi; Best Supporting Actor by H Universe Sharma; Best Make-up by Ng Poison; and Best Music Director by N Tamphasana Meetei.
