Essay competition on suicide prevention on Sept 8

Imphal, August 31 2024: In connection with World Suicide Prevention Day, All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) and Indian Medical Association, Manipur Branch will organise an essay competition on the topic 'Role of common people in suicide prevention' on September 8 at Standard Robarth Higher Secondary School.

In a release, AMRPSWA informed that the competition will be held for students from Class IX-XII with limit of 600 words.

Along with certificates, cash award of Rs 7,000 will be presented to the first prize winner, Rs 5000 to second prize winner, Rs 3,000 to third prize winnerand consolation prize of Rs 1,000 each to fourth to tenth position holders.

The prize distribution will be held on World Suicide Prevention Day i.e September 10 .
