Imphal, April 29 2023: Indian flag bearer, Banner Lanamai James has won the 1st runner-up title at the Mister Heritage International 2023 compilation held at Perla of Orient Seas, Manila, Philippines from April 23 to 29 .

In addition, he has also became the first Mr India to win Best in Runway, Best in Resort Wear, Best in Formal Wear and Mister Elegance special award.

It's the highest number of awards ever won by a Mr India title holder at any international competition.

James wins 1st runner-up title

It may be mentioned that Banner Lanamai James from Manipur won the prestigious Rubaru Mr India 2022 title at the recently concluded Rubaru Mr India Championship.

He was honored with this title at the National finale of the event that took place on October 5, 2022 at the hotel, Crowne Plaza, Chennai Adyar Park in Tamil Nadu.

Banner Lanamai James was conferred with the Best National Costume award for his very beautiful Manipuri costume that he displayed during the National costume segment of the competition.
