The two executives of All Manipur Tribal Development Grievances Forum (AMTDGF) who were arrested by Senapati police for their alleged involvement in calling an indefinite economic blockade along the two National Highways have been granted bail by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Senapati.
M Heni, (64), of Khabung Karong Village reportedly holds the finance secretary post of the AMTDGF and Mark Prou (39) of Kodom Khavii village is the information & publicity secretary.
On the other hand, the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Imphal West remanded two members of AMTDGF to four days police custody till November 7 .
Accused Zeiriangkhou Kamei (54), s/o Hupiuyang Kamei of Namkhaolong Keikao, a member of AMTDGF Tamenglong and Namdigiang Balang @ Daimei (63) s/o (L) Khanglanang Balang of Kabui Khullen, a member of AMTDGF Noney were produced before the Court by a team of Lamphel police station, today.
The IO of the case submitted that the two members of the forum were arrested yesterday from Langol Tarung Happy Valley and Millennium Hotel, Dharmasala.
The Court on perusal of the case record and after hearing the submission of the IO remanded the accused to police custody till November 7 .
