Since early morning, a large number of bandh supporters including womenfolk blocked the Imphal-Moreh road at H Kotlenphai, Pallel, Senam and Chahmol by burning tyres and piling woods.
One white colour Alto car was vandalized on Saivom-Tengnoupal road for defying the bandh called by the JAC.
However, medical emergency and religious activities were exempted from the purview of the bandh.

Members of Khunai Kanba Apunba Meira Paibi Lup, Thoubal District and Chingtam Nupi Apunba Lup (CHINA LUP), Pallel also took part in enforcing the indefinite bandh near Pallel.
JAC convenor Mangboi Haokip said that the indefinite bandh was imposed as the State Government has failed to nab and book the culprits involved in the murder of Ts Thongkhogin Haokip.
He further maintained that the JAC would intensify the agitation including indefinite State wide bandh if the State Government fails to fulfil their demands at the earliest.
