PWA literary award winners announced

Imphal, October 18 2024: Progressive Writers' Association, Manipur has announced the winners of its biennial literary awards.

According to a statement of the Association, the Kumdam Mana (award) for 2023 will be presented to Kongkham Chandramani for his book "Paokhum Fangkhraba Wahang", and for 2024 to Laishram Jugeshwar for his work "Ashi Leibakta Ashibashing" .

Additionally, the Progressive Writing Literary Award for 2023 will be handed over to Wahenbam Romen Meetei for his book "Ningthagi Laman", while the award for 2024 will be conferred to Thoudam Netrajit for "Chingnunggi Sana Lokta", and the Rajkumar Mahabirsana Amadi Tarunishija Khorirof Mana for 2024 to Akendra Tensuba for his book "Nungshit Shittana Una Lengle" .

The awards ceremony is scheduled for October 24 .
