Imphal, March 26 2023: Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) Manipur Prant on Sunday distributed tracksuits, school bags and edibles to young residents of Poirei Nawakon Children Home, Achanbigei.

According to BVP Manipur Prant regional secretary Dr Nongthombam Muhindro, the items were distributed to the 27 female residents of the Home.

The tracksuits were sponsored by BVP Central Office New Delhi National Organising secretary Suresh Jain, while the school bags were provided by BVP Manipur Prant.

Speaking on the occasion, BVP NE Region patron Prof (Dr) S Rajendra Singh highlighted the various works taken up BVP across the country while Dr Sinam Subhashchandra spoke on oral health and advised the adolescent girls to practice Yoga for good oral health.

The distribution function was also attended by national chairman (environment) Prof M Premjit, BVP Manipur secretary K Krishnakumar, Ma-hila Bal Vikash regional director H Joybi Devi, regional secretary Anuradha Jain, S Pritam Singh and members of BVP Bazar Mahila Sakha, the regional secfetary added.
