Book TouX short film competition from Jan 3

The short film making competition, which was earlier scheduled for conduct from December 5 to January 12, 2023 as a part of Book TouX Film Festival, has been rescheduled to January 3 to 10 .
Briefing the media at Manipur Press Club on Monday, Book TouX director Ksh Romeo informed that the competition has been rescheduled considering the festive season and request from the participants, including from outside the state.
The duration of short films for the festival should be between 5 to 8 minutes and shot on camera or mobile phone a week prior to the festival, the director said, adding that the film genre should be based on fiction and non-fiction.
Informing that the late date for registration of participants shall be January 2 next, the director also stated that Book Toux will provide the themes on which the films should be made, a day before the shooting begins.
Further informing that cash prize of Rs 50,000 shall be awarded to the best film, Rs 20,000 each to the best director and best scrip writer, Romeo announced that the festival will be organised every year.
