SBI conducts awareness prog, gifts 'clinic on wheels'

On the occasion of SBI's 67th Foundation Day, a FLAC under the theme State Bank comes to classroom' was organised at St Paul's Institute, here on Friday, with the faculty members and students of the school in attendance.
During the programme, various topics on digital initiatives of SBI, liability products with emphasis on 'Pehla Kadam, Pehli Udaan', PPF, SSA and social security schemes, asset products with emphasis on the bank's education loan scheme were discussed.
A small CSR activity was also conducted after the meeting.
The SBI also donated a mobile medical van under the "SBI Sanjeevani Clinic on Wheels" project to its partner NGO 'Goodwill Foundation' during an event held at B Aizalon village, Churachandpur.
The event was attended by Churachandpur district hospital's chief medical officer Dr Kim Simte.
The NGO was represented by its secretary Christopher Lun and other board members as SBI officials Mangkholet Haokip, CM (C&Ops), Minlun Neihsial, manager (HR) RBO Imphal, LDM Ccpur H Haukhanpau and KM Duh-lian, CM SBI Ccpur Branch, attended the handing over programme.
Several village chiefs of the.area were also in attendance.
