Career Guidance prog for ST students held

Manipur State Commission for Scheduled Tribes (MSCST) and Longmai Students' Union (LSU) jointly organised a 'Career Guidance Programme for ST Students' on Friday at the Multipurpose Indoor Hall, Part-3, Noney town.
The programme was attended by MSCST chairperson Thuigai Mathieu Rongmei, Noney ADM/ADC Stiff Khapudang, Noney ZEO Xavier Longmei, Longmai Village Authority chairman Kasaigai Gangmei, and Longmai Area Private Schools' Association president Disinrei Kamson.
There were two sessions in which two resource persons, Dimgonglung Rongmei, executive director NesDi-RNBA, and Chingkhiujikliu Kamei, psycho-social counsellor, spoke on topics such as 'System Thinking Lense', 'Quality Assurance', 'Social Moral Value', 'Soft Skills', 'Critical Thinking', 'Time Management', 'Emotional Intelligence', 'Self Confidence', and 'Career Options'.
As part of the career guidance programme, HCL Tech also conducted a special recruitment drive.
More than 1,000 students from various schools, as well as those in classes 10 and 12, participated in the rarely held programme.
