Dr M Dhanabir listed for Unsung Hero award

Imphal, September 20 2024: Diabetes Hospital & Research Centre, Porompat managing director Dr Moirangthem Dhanabir, who is also a Padma Bhusan awardee, will be among 50 Indians who would be honoured with India s Unsung Heroes Award-2024 .

The award presented to select individuals by Doosra Dashak Foundation for Education and Development in recognition of their outstanding dedication towards welfare of the society in diverse fields would be handed over on September 25 at Radisson Blu Hotel, Tonk Road, Durgapur in Jaipur.

Prior to this honour, Dr Dhanabir has also been appointed as the International Ambassador in Social Work and vice-president of World Human Rights Protection Commission, an international organisation based in India in recognition of his service to the people.

The appointments will be officially entrusted to him during a programme scheduled for September 28 in New Delhi.
