Imphal, October 18 2024: As a part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month observance, RIMS Department of Radiation Oncology in collaboration with Department of Radiodiagnosis will conduct Special Breast Screening Clinic from October 21 to 31 between 8:30 am to 1 pm on every working day at the RIMS Radiation Oncology OPD Block.

In a release, RIMS informed that the initiative aims to encourage public to prioritise breast health by volunteering for screening and testing.

Diagnostic tests including Ultrasonography (USG) of the breast and Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC) and OPD ticket for breast screening will be provided free of charge, the release informed, inviting all to take the opportunity for early detection and to enhance awareness about breast cancer.
