Imphal, November 11 2022: Wang E Services has opened its Benling E-Scooter show room at Malom Bazar, here, on Friday with Traffic Control Police Wing SP Wungpam Kasar inaugurating the scooter store.

Besides SP Wungpam, the inaugural programme was also attended by additional SP Amakcham Devananda and DSP Th Thomas and Wang E Service proprietor Ngangom Chitrajit as the presidium members.

Addressing the gathering, Wungpam Kasar highlighted the advantages of electric - powered vehicles compared to vehicles that, operate on fossil fuel as the latter release harmful matters which pollute the environment.

He said that mass use of electric scooters will not only control air pollution but also reduce maintenance cost as electric is cheaper than petrol.

The offices also urged the general public to opt for electric scooters in their next purchases.

Meanwhile, proprietor Chitrajit said that Wang E Service has started producing batteries for e-vehicles with a warranty of three years along with informing that e-scooters of Benling Company have greater mileage and minimal maintenance cost.
