Bpr, October 16 2021: Oinam MLA Laishram Radhakishore Singh on Saturday launched three food products including garlic mixture, chempak kobok (beaten rice) and peanut fritters (bora) manufactured by Yangoileima Food Products under the brand, The Taste of Manipur.

The launch programme held at Toubul Mamang Leikai community hall was attended by the MLA as chief guest and DRDA retired scientist Elangbam Shyamkeswor Singh as president, while Toubul GP Ward No 4 member Mutum Rani Devi and Ward No.2 member Th Jibon Singh were present as guests of honour.

Speaking at the programme, chief manager Premjit Elangbam informed that the products launched by Yangoileima under Lan Taret Enterprises have been produced under strictly controlled and hygienic condition.

The food production unit is also providing jobs' to many youth and women of Toubul village, he said and expressed confidence that their small enterprise will become successful and get bigger and better.

The event was also attended by Directorate of Commerce & Industries joint director (Geology & Mining) Kh Dilip Singh, and MSME-Technology Centre, Jmphal deputy director Dr Sinam Yoirentombi Meitei as resource persons.
