No entry to Moreh sans negative certificates

Moreh, June 15 2021: Entry to Moreh from Imphal or from Myanmar side without possession of a Covid-19 certificate has been restricted, announced Tengnoupal DC Naorem Praveen during a meeting held at Tamil Sangam Office on Tuesday.

The meeting was attended by additional SP (OPS) Moreh police M Amit Singh, SDO Moreh I Dinesh Kumar, Tamil Sangam Moreh president V Shekhar, ADC Moreh K Jadumani Singh Meetei Council Moreh president M Thoiba Singh, All Community Development Organization Moreh president Th Budha Meitei, and others including members of Covid-19 Task Force Moreh.

Speaking during the meeting, DC Naorem Praveen appreciated the formation of a Covid 19 Task Force Committee by all communities/ organisations of the border town, along with distribution of relief materials and other assistance by various community leaders of Moreh.

He also announced that no one would be allowed to enter Moreh without a Covid-19 negative certificate.

He then urged all concerned to strictly follow the precautionary measures at all times.
