Imphal, February 10 2022:
On the present situation of Manipur from the revolutionary points of view, chairman Pambei said that the present political and social conditions in the hills and valley of Manipur are being intentionally created by India and the resultant artificially implanted differences seemingly put brotherly hill-valley relation as different entity.
Accordingly, all the traits of Manipur being a nation need to be kept intact fully amidst revolutionary struggle and it is wrong to encourage division among communities on ethnic line and live separately.
Though Manipur existed as a united nation state, adversary forces made repeated attempts to separate hills and valley and in addition to this India's divisive agenda has gone so deep that some indigenous communities are competing in mind and thought weakening.
Ethnicity means self-identification and not identification by outsiders.
Countries having highest number of communities (ethnicity) are in Africa and Middle East and Africa has top 20 countries in the world with have highest number of ethnicities.
From Africa to Middle East, communities are being divided on ethnic lines till date and these communities are yet to understand development due to their quest for surviving alone and the resultant conflict.
India developed a group of privileged class people among indigenous communities particularly financially and powerful people who gain wealth from India's welfare fund through corrupt mean and is trying to handover administration of colonies to this group of privileged class with a policy.
This privileged class group does not fear impact of revolution and are able to confront and stand against revolutionary movement and revolutionary groups too are keeping this privileged class group aside due to weakness or mistake, Pambei said, adding this privileged class group does not want separation from India as they become richer daily as is evident from the growing gap between privileged and poor people.
According to the UNLF chairman, the government of India is becoming more devilish than earlier as its identity is being distorted now and moves toward 'One Party, One Religion, One Language, One Supreme Leader' agenda and thought in the name of Hindutva and Nationalism.
Emerging students are being forced to study Hindi while attempts are being made to uproot minorities at the level of genocide apart from being threatened.
A vivid example of this was the decision taken recently by Haridwar Sansad to uproot a particular community completely.
Using anti-national word, people are being disallowed to utter a word against the government while media are being muzzled from raising questions against the government.
Attempts were also made by government to even disallow people to think independently by using Pegasus software (spyware).
Apart from this, the government of India does not consider lives of the people of Kashmir and WESEA region as important but sees only the economic and geostrategic interest, Pambei said, adding that Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) is being used as a tool to prolong the colonial rule in the region.
There is no guarantee that India could protect identity of small communities of Manipur and WESEA region while the government itself is acting excessively against its own people in the name of administration and religion for Hindu supremacy.
Accordingly, revolutionary movement for regaining Manipur's sovereignty is the only way to defeat and uproot India's policy of letting the mainland Indian people having similar cultural traits alone to live, Pambei said, adding that time has come for emerging youth to join revolutionary movement voluntarily and wholeheartedly to protect their own identity.
