Medical kits distributed to families of ex-servicemen

Thoubal, August 29 2021: Ex-servicemen Healthcare Clinic, Koirengei in coordination with BJP Manipur Pradesh Ex-servicemen Cell convener L Rameshwor distributed medical kits to 150 families of retired soldiers of Thoubal district.

The distribution function held at Thoubal Kshetri Leikai on Sunday was attended by Lt Col (retired) L Manongba Singh, L Rameshwor, Ex-servicemen Cell co-convener L Ibungo Singh and Captain (retired) P Khelendro Singh as presidium members.

At the event, L Rameshwor said that distribution of the medical kits was in continuation of Healthcare Clinic's endeavour to meet and enquire condition of the former soldiers' families and extend all possible help to them.

The clinic has distributed medical kits to around 600 families of ex-servicemen of the state who worked in Army, Navy and Air Force earlier but retired now.

The clinic has also provided relief materials to family members of ex-servicemen who were quarantined after contracting COVID-19 and the same will continue, he said and appealed to ex-servicemen to help the clinic in continuing its service.

The medical kits include oximeter, thermometer, face masks and hand sanitizer.
