Dental clinic inaugurated; awareness prog held

Noney, September 20 2024: Ivy Longmai Dental Care, Longmai Bazar, a private dental clinic, was inaugurated and blessed by Reverend G Adim on Friday.

The clinic owned by Dr Panti J Gangmei, BDS (dental surgeon) with fellowship in endodontics, offers free X-Ray services and a wide range of treatments.

The opening ceremony was attended by doctors, CSO leaders, church leaders and well-wishers.

Meanwhile, Assam Rifles organised an awareness lecture on Say No to Drugs' on Friday at Tupul village, Noney district to spread awareness and knowledge about ill-effects of drug, tobacco and alcohol consumption.

The lecture covered topics such as harmful effects of psychotropic drugs, tobacco and alcohol, as well as their psychological and financial repercussions followed by discussion on strategies for rehabilitation from drug use, alcoholism and smoking.

The awareness lecture was attended by 50 students of Charoi Chakotlong High School, Tupul.
