RIMS nurses call off stir

The agitating nurses of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), the premiere government run hospital of Manipur, will resume their duties from tonight as an agreement has reached between the striking nurses and the RIMS authority today.
According to the agreement reached between the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Nurses' Association, Lamphelpat (RNAL) and the RIMS authority, no joining report be given to the newly promoted Superintendent of Nursing of the hospital, the suspension order of the five nurses by the RIMS director be revoked and the Health Ministry expert team should come and oversee the Rules and Regulations (RR) of the RIMS.
It can be recalled here that since June 12 as the nurses under the aegis of RNAL demanded the RIMS authority to follow the service promotion rules and norms of the Central Government.
