MIU hosts RECON-2024

Imphal, April 22 2024:
A three-day International Research Conference (RECON-2024), organised by Manipur International University (MIU) on the theme 'Collaborative Excellence in Multidisciplinary Research' commenced from Monday at the Ghari Awang Leikai campus of the varsity.
The opening function of the conference was attended by National Sports University vice chancellor professor Usha Sujit Nair as chief guest and MIU chancellor professor Dr Harikumar Pallathadka as president, while Nibiaa Group of Companies, Singjamei Bazar chairman professor N Irabanta Singh and Liberal College, Luwangsangbam principal professor Ningthoujam Sanjoy Singh were guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, RECON-2024 convener professor Potsangbam Kumar informed that the international conference is being organised to focus on interdisciplinary approach to research with academicians, scholars, researchers, youth and practitioners from various state and countries, and to share ideas and innovations in their respective fields.
The conference will be conducted in both online and offline mode with experts sharing their experiences and viewpoints to facilitate collaborative and multidisciplinary research, he added.
As a part of the programme, a souvenir was also released by the dignitaries.
