Tangkhul city churches ' meet held in Mumbai

Ukhrul, October 17 2022: The Tangkhul City Churches Fellowship Network (TCCFN) held its 5th meet in Mumbai, India's financial capital from October 14 to 17 under the theme "Samkaphang atam chi mathada singkhuilu, kaja hi makapha atamna - Ephesians 5:16" .

The event hosted by Tangkhul Baptist Church, Mumbai (TBCM) was attended by eight Tangkhul city churches: Tangkhul Baptist Church, Goa (TBCG), Tangkhul Baptist Church, Chennai (TBCC), Tangkhul Baptist Church, Bangalore (TBCB), Tangkhul Church Hyderabad (TCH), Tangkhul Baptist Church, Pune (TBCP), Tangkhul Church Delhi (TCD), Tangkhul Baptist Church, Shillong (TBCS), and Tangkhul Baptist Church, Guwahati.

On October 15, TCD Sr pastor reverend Dr Mathanmi Zimik, who attended as a resource person, led two separate sessions on the topic: "What is Church?" and "How to work together within the Church?" .

Tangkhul Baptist Church Mumbai (TBCM) pastor reverend Dr Jewel Azyamah welcomed the congregation to the city and wished them a blessed time.

Reverend Rammayon Jajo, convenor, TC-CFN introduced the event's officials and handed over the programme to them.

The Theme Exegesis Ephe sian 5:16 was brought by Tangkhul Baptist Church Bangalore (TBCB) pastor reverend Yarngam Muivah, while, the Saturday morning devotion message was brought by Chihangam Tamang, pastor, Tangkhul Church Hyderabad on the topic: "Love, Worship and Fellowship" .

On the other hand, the night service sermon was delivered by Tangkhul Baptist Church, Guwahati assistant pastor Songaning Shimrang on the topic: "I am the gate" .

Sunday morning devotion message was brought by Dearson A Shimray of Tangkhul Baptist Church, Chennai.

Sunday noon and evening gospel messages were delivered by reverend Rammayon Jajo, pastor of Tangkhul Baptist Church, Shillong and reverend Worngam Keishing, pastor of Tangkhul Baptist Church, Guwahati respectively.

Tangkhul Church Hyderabad (TCH) pastor Chihangam T informed that the meet also elected new office bearers with reverend Rammayon Jajo, pastor, Tangkhul Baptist Church, Shillong as convenor; reverend James Muinao, pastor, Tangkhul Baptist Church, Goa as co-convenor and Chihangam Tamang, pastor, Tangkhul Church Hyderabad as secretary for one tenure 2023-2024.The 6th Tangkhul City Churches Fellowship Network (TCCFN) meet will be held in 2024 and will be hosted by Tangkhul Baptist Church, Goa, he added.
