Annual Day of LCA celebrated

Lifeway Christian Academy, Panchai celebrated its 11th Annual Day today at its premises with large numbers of parents and invitees attending the function marked by a variety of items performed by the students.
MLA of 41-Chandel A/C St Nunghlung Victor and Executive Secretary of Anal Naga Baptist Association (ANBA) Rev KI Tangthu graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Administrator.
Pleased by the joyful performance of the students and good numbers of parents and invitees presence on the occasion, MLA St Nunghlung Victor appreciated initiative of the school for completing all other extra- curricular activities before the final examinations and observed that such arrangements would enable the students to write their exams well.
The MLA also recalled the days when facilities of learning were very rare during his student days in comparison kind of facilities that students enjoy today.
Making the students to realize this, the MLA advised the students to make use of all facilities available to them in both private and Govt schools in the district.
Stating that Education is the same everywhere, the MLA also encouraged the students to work hard with determination and requested both teachers and students to keep in constant touch with respect.
Speaking on the occasion, Rev Kl Tangthu, Executive Secretary of ANBA, emphasized on 'Christian's faith' which according to him is 'the most important' when it comes to 'giving education' and 'training' to children.
The ANBA Executive Secretary said that as a Christian, we must train a child in the way he or she should go.
But the Church worker debated, 'we must dedicate the child to God so that God shows the way', he noted.
The Reverend also blessed the school and the students who will be appearing in the HSLC examination 2014 .
Principal of the school, Ts Ngamwar Anal during extended gratitude to all the dignitaries and distinguished guests who turned up and presented gifts to them.
Speaking on behalf of all the parents, Sr Thungam Anal appreciated the school authority for organising such events and encouraging students to showcase their talents.
