6 hurt in road mishaps

Imphal, December 03 2013:
Six people, including a woman were hurt in three separate road traffic collisions along Imphal Airport road and Imphal-Moreh road of National Highway-2 during rush hour on Tuesday.
In the first accident, two youths and one woman were hurt when an Eaon car rammed on an FZ motorcycle at Kwakeithel bazaar around 1 pm.
Deno Anal, 22, hailing from Chakpikarong in Chandel district who drove the bike was seriously injured in the collision, while the pillion rider who was named Franky, 23, also from Chakpikarong and one of the occupants of the car caught up in the accident got minor injuries.
They were rushed to different hospitals.
In second mishap, two men were injured when a Tata tipper hit them at Lilong Kalei Khong along Imphal-Moreh road around 1:30 pm.
The injured identified as Md Tomba, 35, and Md Arif, 25, both from Lilong Irong village.
They were taken to the hospital.
In the third accident, an elderly man was hurt when he was hit by an Eon car near the tip of the road leading to Sangaiprou.
He was taken to the hospital.
