Position holders, subject toppers felicitated

Imphal, July 16 2022: Susindro Foundation on Saturday felicitated position holders in the HSLC 2020 examination namely Nongmaithem Dhanajit (second) and Athokpam Somraj (16th), both from Khurai assembly constituency.

In a felicitation programme held at the Khurai Sagor Leikai residence of CAF & PD minister L Susindro, Dhanajit of Khurai Konsam Leikai and Athokpam Somraj of Top Khongnangmakhong were encouraged with presentation of Rs 20,000 each.

The cash rewards were handed over by minister Susindro's L Itocha.

Speaking at the event, Susindro Foundation managing trustee L Somorendro informed that it has been felicitating meritorious students of the AC to encourage and assist the hardworking students to continue focusing on their life goal and asserted the initiative will continue in the future.

The programme was attended by Khurai Chingangbam Leikai GP pradhan L Kananbala and the members of the foundation.

Friend's Union Club, Khurai Heigrumakhong also felicitated Dhana-jeet Singh, son of N Somorendro and Kripamanjee Devi.

The felicitation function held at the Club on Friday was attended by Khurai Konsam Leikai GP pradhan Leimaram Rajen as chief guest and local people.

The congregation encouraged Dhanajeet by presenting gifts.

In his speech, Dhanajeet said that he wants to serve people and the society by becoming a doctor and sought blessing from the people.

He also advised students to be attentive and work hard with self-confidence and shoulder responsibility for bringing a good society in Manipur.

Meanwhile, Kakching High School 1984 Matric Batch Alumni Association felicitated position holders and subject toppers of HSLCE 2022 and HSE 2022 from different schools of Kakching area in a function held at the office of the Association located at the boarding of Kakching Public School on Friday.

Alumni association's president Naorem Munal, vice-president Naorem Joykumar, secretary Sh Manihar, executive member Sh Luk-hoi, social worker Yambem Satya, Victory High School headmaster Ksh Ranjan, Padma Ratna English School principal N Britain and Kakching Public School headmaster L Kishwarchand attended the event as the presidium members.

HSLCE 9th position holder Mayan -glambam Sania of Padma Ratna English School, 23rd position holder Moirangthem Devarani of Martin Grammar School, HSE Arts stream 3rd position holder Naorem Jessica of EK Higher Secondary School, Science stream 7th position holder Ariesto Oinam of Xtra Edge School and 9th position holder Naorem Sovinity of Herbert School were felicitated during the programme.

The subject toppers felicitated include Ksh Yaikhomba, Mangte Mangkhoikim Kom, Mayanglambam Sania, P Sanathoi, Yengkhom Kenneth, Naorem Rohit & Thoihen Moirangthem of Padma Ratna English School, Fatima Maibam of Martin Grammar School and Yengkhom Yaiphaba of Victory High School, who scored 100 out of 100 marks in Mathematics and Higher Mathematics subjects.

Cash incentive of Rs 3Q00 and Rs 1000 each were awarded to position holders and subject toppers respectively.
