MPCC observes Anti-Terrorism Day

Commemorating the 26th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Anti-Terrorism Day was observed by Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee at Congress Bhavan, BT Road today.
Floral tribute was paid to the portriat of Rajiv Gandhi by MPCC president TN Haokip, ex-Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh, MLA Govindas Konthoujam, MLA N Loken, MLA AK Mirabai, MLA Thaisii and party members.
When asked to comment on the recent attack on police commandos along Moreh road, ex-Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh said, "I don't
want to comment anything which will relates with the new State Government.
However, the incident is highly condemnable.
We all should fight against terrorism and any type of violence" .
"Anti-Terrorism Day is being observed every day to commemorate the death of former Prime Minister Rajiv Minister.
Terrorism and violence will not bring any solution to the problem and we need to join hands and spread this message across the world," O Ibobi Singh added.
