ITI students furious over malpractices at institute

Imphal, September 13 2018:
Irate students of Industrial Training Institute (ITI) protested against one instructor stenography and Maintenance Mechanic for their unethical practices at the institute.
Speaking to media persons, All Manipur ITI Student Union (AMISU) president Parker Lourembam said that the administration of the institute has remained defunct for a long time and alleged that the authorities concerned have damaged the work culture at the institute.
Alleging that employees are not punctual and does not follow the daily time table, he stated that the authorities concerned have failed to monitor the available materials and equipments in the institute.
He further alleged that the negligence of Maintenance Mechanic has led to gradual deterioration of the machines and equipments in the institute.
The student boycotted class and locked the institute as well.
Later, the authority concerned managed to open the institute and to conduct classes but the majority of the students denied to attend classes until their demands are met.
The student union has submitted a memorandum to Education Minister Th Radheshyam regarding the matter.
