ZNCM conducts 3rd executive meeting

Senapati, October 23 2024: Zeme Naga Council Manipur (ZNCM) on Wednesday conducted the 3rd executive meeting of the Council at Makuilongdi village in Senapati district.

The meeting was presided over by ZNCM president Apung Daime and recorded by ZNCM general secretary Etalakpe Kompoing.

It was attended by officials of Zeme Pui Baudi Manipur (ZPBM), Zeme Students Organisation Manipur (ZSOM), Zeme Literature Society Manipur (ZLSM), Makuilongdi village chairman and other chairmen of Zeme villages.

During the meeting, the federating units of the Council presented their respective activities and progress report for the year 2023-24 .

Various pertinent issues of Zeme coomunity were discussed including the functioning and activities of the Council, ZPBM, ZSOM and ZLSM, land and property rights, setting up customary law committee, development of Class XI and XII textbooks and Zeme cultural festival among others.
