KCH felicitates successful candidates

Kangpokpi, February 11 2015: Kangpokpi Christian Hospital on Wednesday felicitated its FHW students, who secured positions in Manipur Nursing Council Examination-2014, in a function held at Mission Chapel, Kangpokpi.

The felicitation function was graced by ex-Chief Minister Rishang Keising and Haokholal Hangshing, Chairman, ADC Sadar Hills as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively while L Kipgen, Chaplain, Kangpokpi Christian Hospital attended as the Blessing Minister.

Dr..THatzaw, Medical Superintendent of KCH and various other medical officials apart from various CSOs leaders and village chief also attended the function.

Nengminnei Kipgen, D/o Ngulmang Kipgen of Kangpokpi, Sumitra Basnet, D/o Gyanandra Basnet of Toribari, Gracy Doungel, D/o Lamkholun Doungel of Lungphou Kuki village and Singmichon Kashung, D/o Silas Kashung of Tanrui village in Ukhrul who secured first, second, seventh and ninth position in the Female Health Worker final year examination under Manipur Nursing Council while Lamnunhoi Sitlhou, D/o Late Paotinthang Sitlhou of Keithelmanbi and Shanti Sharma, D/o of Ramlal Sharma of Lungphou Nepali village who secured fifth and eighth position in the first year examination of Female Health Worker under the same council were felicitated in the function.

Speaking at the function, Rishang Keishing emphasized on the necessity and value of love, peace and unity.

He said, "Never give up in despair rather try to live a little better and always be forgiving and to add a little sunshine to the world in which we're living" .

While lauding the successful students the ex-Chief Minister wished that their success would lead to greater achievement in the years to come for the institution as well as the society.

"Build for your team a feeling of oneness, of dependence on one another, and of strength to be derived by unity", Ex-Chief Minister exhorted.

Haokholal Hangshing also lauded the successful students and said that the new success of yours is another milestone in the success story of the institution and it is for sure you are going to attain new heights with lot more successes.

"Behind everyone's success, there is effort and dedication present", pointed out Haokholal Hangshing before adding that anyone's success should be given recognition while congratulating their success so that it will make them understand how you recognize their work and their efforts to reach that.

Cultural dance, choreography, skits and special show from various artistes and nursing students enthralled the congregation of the function.
